The Xinzuo Mo Series 8.5" Chef Knife is honestly a steal at around 146. It cuts like knives that cost twice as much. The Damascus blade stays sharp and holds its edge through long prep sessions, and at 203g it feels balanced—nimble enough for detail work but still solid when you're hacking through a pile of veggies. The burnt oak handle looks great and doesn't get slippery when your hands are wet. Only downsides: you have to hand wash it, and the edge is thin so don't go near bones or frozen stuff. For the money, it's hard to beat. Plus it comes with a lifetime warranty, which is pretty rare at this price.

The holder works well attached to the inside of the pantry door. And it looks fabulous. I like that it is made of wood, so will not hurt the knives. This was a present given to my Step-son on his 50th birthday. The knives are just beautiful, I love the wooden handles and they feel really nice in the hand. The steel blades are awesome and so sharp. My daughter in law said that cutting meat was like slicing through butter!
