The blade is forged from 67 layers of Damascus steel folded around a 10Cr15CoMoV core, hardened to 60±2 HRC through vacuum heat treatment and deep-freeze. The core is what holds the edge; the outer cladding is 316/316L stainless Damascus, 33 layers each side, for corrosion resistance and the Raindrop pattern you see along the flat. Hard enough to stay sharp, tough enough for daily use.
