4" Paring Knife - Mo Series (X06)

4.82 Stars (187 reviews)

The Mo Series 4" paring knife is built for the small, precise jobs a chef's knife is too big for — peeling, segmenting citrus, hulling, deveining, trimming fat and turning vegetables in hand. The 107mm blade is forged from 67 layers of Damascus over a 10Cr15CoMoV core, ground thin behind a 15° edge so it tracks exactly where you point it. The oak burnt handle gives a warm, grippy hold for off-board work.

DESCRIPTION

This is the blade you'll use for the tasks that require a human touch. The 4-inch paring knife is an extension of your hand, designed for in-air slicing and precision jobs where a chef knife feels like using a sledgehammer to crack a walnut.

Small Blade, Big Performance

Reach for this nimble blade for peeling apples, hulling strawberries, or deveining shrimp. Despite its size, we haven't compromised on the materials. It features the same high-performance 10Cr15CoMoV steel core as its bigger brothers, vacuum heat-treated to 60-62 HRC. It stays razor-sharp, making delicate work feel effortless.

Signature Comfort and Control

Precision work requires a secure grip. The signature MO series handle is crafted from deep, burnt oak, hand-shaped to fit snugly in your palm. An elegant red G10 accent ring completes the look, giving you a tool that is as beautiful as it is functional.

  • Blade Steel: 10Cr15CoMoV Core wrapped in 67-layer Damascus Steel

  • Blade Profile: 4-inch Precision Paring Knife
  • Handle: Burnt Oak with Red G10 Accent (Hidden Tang)

Small Blade, Total Control

MO SERIES · X06

Small Blade, Total Control

A paring knife earns its place in the hand, not on the board. At 4" / 107mm the Mo Series blade is short enough to pivot inside an apple or against your thumb, yet forged to the same standard as the larger knives in the range — a 67-layer Damascus exterior wrapped around a 10Cr15CoMoV core. This is the knife you reach for between the big cuts: peeling, coring, segmenting, scoring, and any job that rewards a fine point and a sharp belly.

Precision You Feel

WHY IT WORKS

Precision You Feel

A short blade ground to 15° per side and tapered to a fine tip means the edge goes exactly where you steer it. Whether you're working over a board or in your palm, the Mo paring knife stays controllable through delicate cuts — no wandering, no wedging through soft skins and flesh.

67 Layers Over a Hard Core

BLADE & STEEL

67 Layers Over a Hard Core

The blade is forged from 67 layers of Damascus folded around a 10Cr15CoMoV core, hardened to 60±2 HRC with vacuum heat treatment and a deep-freeze cycle for edge stability. The spine measures 2.3mm and tapers to a thin, keen edge. The surface carries a New Water Wave black titanium stonewash — an acid-etched, matte water-wave pattern that's as functional as it is distinctive.

Burnt Oak, Full Tang

IN THE HAND

Burnt Oak, Full Tang

The handle is burnt oak — warm, textured and secure even when wet — set over a full-tang construction that runs the length of the knife for balance and durability. At 96g the knife is light enough for extended in-hand work without fatigue, and short enough to control with a pinch grip up near the bolster.
