Xinzuo Limited Lifetime Warranty

Every Xinzuo knife is built to last. We stand behind the quality of our materials and craftsmanship with a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use, including:

  • Blade defects such as cracks, voids, or delamination in the steel
  • Incorrect hardness or uneven tempering of the blade
  • Handle defects including loose rivets, splitting, or separation from the tang
  • Incorrect blade geometry from the manufacturing process

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, accidents, or normal wear and tear, including:

  • Chipping or breaking caused by cutting bones, frozen foods, hard seeds, or other hard materials
  • Using the knife as a pry bar, screwdriver, or for any purpose other than food preparation
  • Rust or corrosion resulting from improper care (e.g. leaving wet, storing damp, dishwasher use)
  • Damage caused by dishwashers, including handle discolouration and blade corrosion
  • Normal dulling of the edge through regular use
  • Cosmetic wear such as scratches, patina development, or surface marks
  • Damage from dropping, impact, or accidental mishandling
  • Damage from improper sharpening or modification
  • Damage from professional or commercial kitchen use (warranty covers household use only)

How to Make a Claim

To submit a warranty claim, email us at support@xinzuo.com.au with:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase
  • Clear photos of the defect
  • A brief description of the issue and how it occurred

Our team will assess your claim and respond within 3 business days. If we need to inspect the knife, we will provide a return shipping address. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.

Warranty Remedy

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Xinzuo will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product free of charge. Replacement products may be a current equivalent model if the original is no longer available.

Important Notes

  • This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.
  • Proof of purchase from xinzuo.com.au or an authorised Xinzuo retailer is required.
  • This warranty is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes any consumer guarantees or other rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
