The way they write the description makes you think the whole thing is leather. It is not. Only the two straps are leather, everything else is waxed, stiffened canvas. Incredibly difficult to break down and soften and absolutely not what my chef husband wanted. He has $1500 worth of knives in their boxes because this knife roll is not good enough to put them in. I want him to send it back because it's a waste of money, but the shipping return will just cost us more. Don't buy if you actually want a leather knife roll to keep your knives safe and in good condition. Not worth the money.

You didn't contact us before leaving the reviews, so unfortunately we never had the opportunity to resolve this for you, and there was no need to assume you'd be out of pocket for the return.
Just to clarify for anyone reading, the knife roll is made from waxed canvas with genuine horse leather straps and detailing, as shown in the product photos and description. The canvas is intentional, as a knife roll made entirely from leather would offer very little resistance to knife tips piercing through it.
That said, if it's not what your husband wanted, that's completely fine. Please contact us and I'll happily arrange the return at our expense and issue a full refund.

Was a great surprise as she didn’t know she was getting the bag
She was very excited
I’ve been looking for a knife roll bag for some months now after many years mo old knife roll had come to its end. I decided to have on a look numerous sites. I’m guessing if you’re looking for one you know what I mean. So many sizes, colours, promises of the real deal ect. You name them I have most likely seen them and read the review them along with some research on them. In the end I decided to go with Xinzuo Leather Vintage Knife Roll Bag with 12 pockets for your knives, steel, palates, kitchen sheers large spoon ect..On either side of the roll there zip pockets of additional storage smaller equipment tweezers, thermometers etc. it comes with a sturdy strap to attach if you want to wear over your shoulder which you can remove and carry it around with the handle. It comes in brown or black. Im happy with my purchase along with some chefs pals who were impressed.
