Corporate Gifts: Engraved Knife Sets

Most corporate gifts get used once, then forgotten. A hand-forged Damascus knife set with the recipient's name engraved on the blade gets used every night, and the gesture is remembered every time it is. Xinzuo Australia supplies engraved knife sets as premium client gifts, employee recognition gifts and settlement gifts, with per-recipient name engraving, business logo engraving and volume orders handled through one enquiry. Tell us what you need and we will come back with options and a quote.

Why do engraved knife sets make good corporate gifts?

Because they are practical, personal and permanent. An engraved knife set is one of the few corporate gifts that people actually keep: it lives on the kitchen bench, gets used daily, and the engraving does not wear off, wash out or end up in a drawer with the stress balls and drink bottles.

There is also the quality story. Xinzuo knives are hand-forged in Yangjiang with Japanese-grade steel cores such as VG10 and 10Cr15CoMoV, hardened to HRC 58 to 64, with 67-layer Damascus cladding on the Damascus ranges. Every knife carries a lifetime warranty. When your gift is a blade like that, the message your client receives is that you do not cut corners either.

What can you engrave?

Each blade carries up to two lines of laser-engraved text, 20 characters per line: the recipient's name, a date, a milestone or a short message from your business. One line is $19 per knife and two lines is $29 per knife, and every knife in an order can carry different wording, which is what makes this work for teams:

  • "Sarah Chen" on line one, "10 Years. Thank you." on line two.
  • "The Nguyen Family" and the settlement date, from their agent.
  • "Presented to Mark R." and the retirement year.

For business orders we can also engrave your company logo on the blade. Send a clean, single-colour version of your logo with the enquiry and we will confirm exactly how it reproduces on the steel before anything is engraved; nothing goes to the laser until you have approved it. Many corporate buyers combine both: the logo on every blade, each recipient's name alongside it.

Xinzuo Mo Series two piece knife set, a popular corporate gift choice

Which occasions suit a corporate knife set?

Any occasion where you want the gift to outlast the gesture. The most common corporate orders:

  • EOFY client and staff gifts. A genuinely useful thank-you before 30 June. Speak to your accountant about how gifting is treated for your business.
  • Christmas gifting. Engraved sets for your client list or your team. Engraving and December delivery both take time, so lock orders in early.
  • Settlement gifts. Real estate agents and brokers gift knife sets at settlement because they stay in the new kitchen for decades, along with the memory of who handed them over.
  • Employee recognition. Work anniversaries, promotions, retirements and awards, engraved with the person's name and the milestone.
  • Partner and supplier gifts. A better way to say thank you than another bottle of wine.

Which sets work best for corporate orders?

For client gifting, the Damascus knife sets are the strongest choice: the 67-layer Damascus pattern makes an unmistakable first impression when the box opens. For larger team orders, the broader range of knife sets covers different budgets without dropping below gift quality.

Two other options worth knowing about. A set of steak knives suits hospitality clients and smaller per-head budgets. And for a single standout gift, an engraved knife from the Uliassi Series, XinZuo's collaboration with a three Michelin star chef, makes an executive or retirement gift with a story attached.

Not sure which fits your budget and headcount? Put your numbers in the enquiry and we will shortlist options for you.

How do volume orders work?

Send us the quantity, budget per recipient, your deadline and the wording you want on each blade. We confirm stock, engraving and delivery timing, and quote the order as a whole, with a GST tax invoice provided. Ten sets for a leadership team or a longer run for your full client list both work; if you are ordering for EOFY or Christmas, earlier is always safer.

Frequently asked questions

Can each knife in an order have different wording?

Yes. Engraving is set per knife, so an order of twenty gifts can carry twenty different names. Supply the wording list with your enquiry and we will confirm it back to you before anything is engraved.

Is there a minimum order?

No fixed minimum. A single engraved executive gift is as welcome as a full client-list run; volume pricing is quoted per order.

How long does a corporate order take?

It depends on quantity and stock, which is why we confirm timing with your quote before you commit. Engraving is done in house at our Queensland warehouse. For EOFY and Christmas deadlines, enquire early.

Can you engrave our company logo?

Yes. Logo engraving is available for business orders: send a clean, single-colour version of your logo with your enquiry and we will confirm how it reproduces on the blade before anything is engraved. Photographs and shaded artwork cannot be laser engraved, and most logos convert cleanly to a single-colour engraving version.

What warranty applies?

The Xinzuo lifetime warranty applies to every knife, engraved or not, and your recipients' rights under Australian Consumer Law are unaffected. Details are on our warranty page.
