5" Steak Knife - Elegant Series (B38L)
A 5" Damascus steak knife built for the table, not just the kitchen. The blade is 67 layers of Damascus steel folded around a 10Cr15CoMoV core, hand-finished with a flowing layer pattern and set into a full-tang Linen Micarta handle. Precision ground to 15° per side, it slices cleanly through cooked steak without sawing or tearing the fibres. Presentation and edge in one piece, ready to set beside the plate.

DESCRIPTION
This one belongs on the table, not the cutting board. When a ribeye or a rack of lamb chops lands in front of a guest, the knife they pick up should do the cutting without any effort on their part. The 5-inch Elegant Series Steak Knife has a blade that stays sharp through a full dinner service, so nobody is sawing.
The Right Tool for the Table
A steak knife is a single-task blade. It doesn't chop onions or break down a chicken. It cuts through a rested sirloin or a grilled lamb cutlet cleanly, at an angle, on a dinner plate. The 5-inch length is right for that job: enough reach to cross a thick-cut steak in one stroke, compact enough to handle without bumping the wine glass. The 10Cr15CoMoV core is vacuum heat-treated to 60-62 HRC, so the edge doesn't fade halfway through a table of four.
Damascus Steel at Dinner
The blade is built from 67 layers of Damascus cladding over that hard core. At the table, that matters twice: the layered steel protects the edge from the micro-chips that come with plate contact, and the flowing Damascus pattern looks like it belongs on a set dinner table. The linen Micarta handle is weighted and full-tang, which means the knife doesn't tip awkwardly when you're cutting at an angle with a full plate underneath.

Elegant Series
A Steak Knife Worth Setting on the Table
The Elegant Series B38L is the steak knife you bring out when the meal matters. A 5" Damascus blade with a 10Cr15CoMoV core, ground to 15° per side, glides through a rested ribeye in a single pull. The 67-layer pattern catches the light, the Linen Micarta handle balances in the hand, and the whole knife reads as part of the setting rather than a tool borrowed from the block.

Edge + Presentation
Cuts Clean, Looks the Part
A blunt table knife crushes and shreds; a steak knife should part the meat. This one is precision ground to 15° per side over a hardened 10Cr15CoMoV core, so it slices rather than saws and keeps the juices in the steak instead of dragging them onto the plate. Off the table, the 67-layer Damascus cladding and Linen Micarta handle make it a knife you are happy to leave on display.

The Steel
10Cr15CoMoV Core, 67-Layer Damascus
The cutting core is 10Cr15CoMoV, hardened to 60±2 HRC through vacuum heat treatment and a deep-freeze cycle for edge stability. That core is clad in 67 layers of Damascus steel, with 316L stainless wrapping the outer layers for corrosion resistance and the flowing pattern across the blade. Hard enough to hold a fine table edge, finished to look like more than cutlery.

In the Hand
Full-Tang Linen Micarta
The handle is Linen Micarta over a full tang that runs the length of the knife, so the balance sits forward into the blade and the grip stays secure even with a buttery, plate-side hold. Micarta is dense, moisture-stable and warm to the touch, which suits a knife that lives at the table as much as in the kitchen.

FAQs
Is this a serrated steak knife?
No. It is a straight-edge Damascus blade ground to 15° per side. A keen straight edge slices cleanly through cooked meat and, unlike serrations, can be resharpened to stay that way.
What steel is the blade?
A 10Cr15CoMoV cutting core clad in 67 layers of Damascus steel, with 316L stainless wrapping the outer layers. It is hardened to 60±2 HRC.
How long is the blade?
5.0 inches (127 mm), sized for a table steak knife rather than a kitchen prep blade.
What is the handle made of?
Linen Micarta over a full tang. Micarta is dense and moisture-stable, so it holds up to table use and washing better than wood or plastic.
Can I put it in the dishwasher?
No. Hand wash and dry a Damascus blade to protect the edge and the layered finish. The lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects, not dishwasher damage.
Does it come ready to give as a gift?
Yes. Each knife arrives in a premium single-knife gift box.
Where is it made?
Yangjiang, Guangdong Province, China, the centre of Chinese knife-making.
