RETRO SERIES SET
This is the set that handles the whole board. A bunka for everyday slicing, a santoku for protein and produce, a nakiri for clean vegetable cuts, and a utility knife for the small jobs in between. Every blade shares the same 3-layer 10Cr15CoMoV composite steel, the same 15° per side edge, and the same stone-washed frosted black finish — so the kit looks and cuts as one. The wooden magnetic holder keeps them on the bench and off the drawer.

WHY THE SET
Buying singles over time leaves you with mismatched steels, finishes, and handles. This set lands complete: four blades that share one 10Cr15CoMoV composite core, one octagonal red wood and buffalo horn handle, and one stone-washed retro finish. The wooden magnetic holder is included, so there is nothing else to source. One purchase, one coherent kit, ready to use.
WHAT'S INSIDE
The set includes four knives and a wooden magnetic holder. The 8" bunka is the all-rounder — a k-tip blade for slicing, dicing, and detail work. The 7" santoku handles protein and produce with a flat, push-cut profile. The 6.8" nakiri is purpose-built for vegetables, with a straight edge that meets the board edge to edge. The 6" utility covers the smaller tasks — trimming, segmenting, and prep too fine for a large blade. All four are forged from 3-layer composite steel and sit in the included wooden magnetic holder.
WHO IT'S FOR
This is a strong first set for a new kitchen — four core shapes that cover almost everything you cut, with no gaps to fill later. It also makes a considered gift: presented in a gift box with a matching wooden holder, it arrives complete and ready to give. The Retro finish and buffalo horn handles give it presence on the bench, backed by a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects.
