The 5-inch blade is the right length for at-table work: long enough for a full steak, short enough to stay controlled. The 14Cr14MoVNb powder steel core is vacuum heat-treated to 62-64 HRC, so the edge stays keen through dinner for a full table of guests. You won't reach for the honing rod between courses. The 73-layer Damascus cladding protects the core and gives each blade a flowing pattern that looks as good on the table as it cuts.
