Every knife in the set shares the same 73-layer Damascus construction with a 14Cr14MoVNb powder steel core, vacuum heat-treated to 62-64 HRC. That hardness is what separates powder steel from conventional stainless: the edge takes a more acute angle and holds it through long prep sessions, so you're not reaching for a honing rod halfway through a Sunday cook. The flowing Damascus pattern is different on every blade. The polished olive wood handles are each unique too -- natural grain, comfortable in a pinch grip or a full wrap.
